Just to expand on this, we *in principle* have three kinds of ‘mirrors’ (servers)

 - TerraSync
 - FGaddon
 - downloads

Each of these has some nuances, but also for all three, one of the mirrors was us1mirror (Heliohost), which recently had some issues with our VPS / traffic, and is being re-created. The problem is us1mirror was the source-of-truth for the CDN, so it’s also down.

In the medium term we’re going to move the TerraSync source-of-truth to the same host as the CDN (Bunny, net) since this will be more flexible than Heliohost, for the same recurring cost.

The good news is Ibiblio exists as source-of-truth for FGaddon and downloads, the bad news is some people (including Chris) were using us1mirror as source-of-truth, *because I told them to*, but I think we’re at the point of considering Heliohost as best-effort, not something really reliable. (The web servers also seem to get stuck / fall over once per month, no idea why…)

So we’re /probably/ going to gradually wind down that server in the next few months in favour of other hosts, such as de3mirror (Hetzner).

Kind regards,
James
