@Torsten / @Curt, As an interim measure, would there be any reason we cannot look at changing the terrasync.fg NAPTR records to only contain those mirrors that are online? I am seeing widespread encouragement from more and more users of forcing a single mirror. The main ones I am seeing suggested are ( https://terrasync.eti.pg.gda.pl/ts and worse, sourceforge), and inevitably when normal service is resumed, the vast majority of people probably will not remove that configuration and will continue to only use the single server, defeating the purpose of the NAPTR record, which as I understand among other things was actually for exactly this usecase - Being able to change the mirrors available to use without having to recompile FG, in the event that some go offline or new ones come online. There are more and more users daily getting frustrated that things are offline and now, the solutions that are being spread may end up harming the project more than they realise in the long run.
