Hello everyone, I am examining the current Qt launcher of FlightGear and considering whether it would be beneficial to redesign its UI for Next. Before doing anything, I just want to make sure that both developers and users are interested in the redesign and figure out what particular aspects of the current launcher created the most issues from a UI or UX perspective. Some points worth evaluating are as follows: * The general navigation and the page layout * The Summary page before the flight * Selecting and searching for an airplane * Setting the environment, location, and settings * Where the Fly button stays * Spacing, typography, responsiveness, and continuity of the visual flow of the UI * Accessibility of the product and its keyboard navigation The objective is not to eliminate any existing functionality or create a new backend for the launcher but rather to make the visual appearance and usability better. What do you think is confusing, old-fashioned, inefficient, or hard to use in the existing version of the launcher? Would a redesign of the launcher be beneficial for Next? Kind regards, Philips _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
