Indeed.

Wikis came about in a time before agentic AI. Wiki admins are going to have
a hard time given this increasingly common situation. I think we're going
to see many more wikis restricted to vetted contributors.

I share some of Curt's memories. I grew up building complex plastic models,
then building flying balsa and spruce models, then control-line models
(anyone remember those?) and then to R/C aircraft, all built by hand the
hard way. Not to mention quite a few Heathkit stuff (I built my own servos,
etc.). We have a lot of cool stuff now, but we traded a lot for it and the
sudden extreme rise of these LLMs makes me suspect there's more yet to lose.
