YAsim is easier for non-aero-engineer-phd's to get something pretty good up and flying. JSBSim is good for those that need fine grained control over exact flight behavior (and there are tools in development that work with JSBSim to ease the process of creating the config file.) I wasn't aware that YAsim computed control loading forces, but that's great if it does. I don't think that JSBSim computes these at the moment.
