Thank you in advance. I'm not completely clear on it, but I've been told that X-Plane can calculate some of the derivatives for you. It calculates those depending on shape and design of your aircraft. How it does it is by magic. So I would let X-Plane calculate some of the derivatives, and then verify those numbers by plugging it in Flightgear and comparing performance.
