Hi Jon,

Not that it matters,  but... ummm... "bandstanding" is not a word. :-) You might have meant 
to say "grandstanding",  but if I get your intended point, then that wouldn't be exactly 
the right term either.

It sounds like the point you make here is this list is NOT intended to be a political 
forum.  I myself am not happy with much that is going on in the world these days,  but I 
thought your message should clarified, and of course seconded.
