During the take off run when I keep an eye on the aero-forces in the X direction I observe a sign change in the force in the X direction, with no flaps during takeoff run(still on the runway below 150kn) when I pull the control column(deflecting elevators up) I observed the aero force change from minus to plus and when I push the york it changes from minus to plus. With 20 flaps during takeoff run when I pull the control column I see that the drag in X direction decrease and when I push it the drag(aero force) in X direction(Obviously the drag is in X direction :D) increases. I can observe the corresponding increase & decrease in acceleration when I pull and push the control column when I keep an eye on the airspeed indicator also. Can someone tell me whether it is normal and let me know how this happens or is it a problem(BUG :D) in the 747-200. And by the way can someone tell me about the trim setting that must be used when taking off this jumbo at MTOW and the aerodynamics with regard to elevator trim and elevator deflections. Thank You, Supem([email protected]) --000e0cd175480068cb0460d68f4d Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hi,

I have some problems regarding the aerodynamic forces acting on = the 747-200 aircraft(JSBsim) which is available for download at the flight = gear site.

During the take off run when I keep an eye on the aero-fo= rces in the X direction I observe a sign change in the force in the X direc= tion, with no flaps during
takeoff run(still on the runway below 150kn) when I pull the control = column(deflecting elevators up) I observed the aero force change from minus= to plus
and when I push the york it changes from minus to plus.
