Anyone using nouveau?

It's been a long time since I disable the nouveau driver in my kernel 
builds, because it didn't support 3D which Flightgear needs.

I have been asked questions on another forum about the performance of 
nouveau compared to NVidia's proprietary driver.

Would appreciate any details - if it currently works, fails, under 
performs, etc.
