In a user-contributed forum like Flightgear, where they're practically begging one to "help them out," and with no-one really in charged, how can you have "official?" Aircraft can be changed at will, computer code for the simulation itself can be contributed, scenery can be changed, additions or deletions made, even by a savvy user who knows what they're doing. Official? Don't make me laugh.
