Does anyone us a 64-bit machine to create scenery files? We have been
sucessfully running TerraGear through Cygwin on a 32-bit machine and
through Linux on a 32-bit machine. Recently we compiled Terragear on a
64-bit Dell 670 with Fedora Red Hat for Linux. The scenery files were
built without incident but the resulting files did not load into FG.
If I started from an airport within the new tiles, FG just hung at the
splash screen. If I started from KSFO using the base FG scenery and set
autopilot to the new airport when FG arrived at the new tile lat/lon
there was just a white area for the terrain.

I have been going through the intermediate files and of course the ASCII
files match between the 32-bit and 64-bit builds. The binary files do
not and I have been trying to track those differences down without much
success so far.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Stacie
