Freeciv 2.4.0 second beta source code released

The second beta of Freeciv 2.4.0 is now available for download.

Changes since beta1 are mainly bugfixes, although there are one or two
new features and a number of AI improvements. Full details at

2.4.0-beta2 source code is available from
<http://www.freeciv.org/wiki/Download#Beta_2.4>.
(Windows packages should follow shortly.)

Please report any bugs you find in this beta release.

Unfortunately, due to a latent bug in version checking, existing
2.4.0-beta1 installations will now tend to alert you to the existence of
the new beta by crashing when you click "Connect to Network Game". Sorry
about that; of course upgrading to beta2 will prevent the crash.
