The first beta for Freeciv 2.5.0 is now available as source code for
download.

2.5.x ships with David Fernandez's civ2civ3 ruleset for the first time
(as well as the classic rules), and gives much more flexibility to other
ruleset authors. See more details at

(Windows packages should follow shortly at the same location.)
