I am VERY backlogged, had 1200 or so FreeCiv list messages unread in mailbox.. On Fri, 2 Aug 2002, Per I. Mathisen wrote: > Too many different game mechanics confuse the player. Its been a long time since I last worked on my scenarios but in neither one would that make any sense. I'm not sure it makes sense at all, is it something to do with an assumption that Christ was real and changed the universe or human consciousness? I can't remember whether there is a way to set the start year in such a way as to avoid that, either starting millions of years (or 32767 years or whatever) prior to avoid the doubling or setting it after to have the doubling apply from the start of the game? Or could the magic maybe even be made a toggle so it can simly be disabled? -MarkM- -- Got a website? Get 10,000+ hits a day FREE... http://makemoney.knotwork.com/10000hits/
