Any update on this? I'd really like to get as much of this translation
as possible into the 2.3.5/2.4.2 releases. I plan to make the releases
tomorrow (Sunday) morning, UK time.

I'm sorry if I've poured cold water on your hard work, but I hope you
appreciate that we have to be careful about content licensing.

If there is a copyright problem specifically in the nation legend
translations, I'm happy to create and commit a version of ru.po that
excludes them, if you can confirm that's all that's affected -- it would
be better to have a complete translation of everything else than not use
the localisation at all.
