2.6.6 & 3.0.0-RC1

 I have preliminary release dates for 2.6.6 and 3.0.0-RC1.

 For 2.6.6 we need to release it as soon as possible after New Year,
and the first opportunity seems to be Friday 07.01.2022.

 Final 3.0.0 is expected in March. As RC needs to be released a week
earlier than the final release, the first possible date for 3.0.0-RC1
is Friday 25.02.2022.
