A couple of updates to these. - 2.6.6 is likely the last release from S2_6, unless security vulnerabilities or other serious issues are found. The branch builds without issues also with the current development version on gcc-12, so it should be buildable in its current state for some time to the future. - I have a low number of patches in queue for S2_6, and no future patches in sight. It might make sense to make the 2.6.6 release earlier than the date stated above. No point in sitting on a ready codebase. - As far as I know there has been no string changes to S2_6 since the 2.6.5 release - Also S3_0 is getting new stuff relatively slowly. So it's possible that it too get released earlier than the date specified above (despite beta3 announcing "March" as the release date to look for) - ML
