Italian translation

Hello everyone,

I'm Luca from Italy. I'm a long-time Freeciv player and a software
developer.

I'd like to contribute to maintaining and improving the Italian translation
for Freeciv (currently 3.2.x, and future versions if needed).

Could someone point me to the current translation workflow? Should I work
directly from the Git repository and submit patches, or is there another
preferred process?
