They recently dropped their prices to Boulder levels, so to the extent that 8.8% sales tax is less than shipping costs, they are an awesome deal.

In many cases Tom beats WotC 40% off prices (but not 50%).

  Not recently. Been slumming at Wizards waiting for the big discounts
  to kick in. Anything specific you're looking for? Game Wizard tends to
  keep up pretty well, though I don't recall seeing any of the new Essen
  stuff there. Lots of it at WizKids though.
