I love, love, love El Grande! And I've found that when I meet other gamers who view El Grande favourably we tend to like many other games as well. So there might be something about the style of game El Grande is that works with me and other gamers as well for there to be that connection. Having said that, I don't like playing it with five. Four is best for me. I don't enjoy Settlers, but I would rather play that than play E.G. with five.
