I'm trying to fine tune the electric assist and suspension design for my real-life velomobile with the help of TORCS. I've built a track of a local area to test the real bike against the model, but I've hit a blockade. My bike has 24 gears right now, And I'm looking to increase that. About 16 months ago mart_k made a patch to remove this limitation when I talked to him about it in the IRC channel, however, it doesn't work with the current version, http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=200803041609.13196.mart%40kelder31.nl&forum_name=torcs-devel I don't see how this change could affect anyone not needing the extra gears, In fact it ran fine locally. I note that here ( http://www.nabble.com/using-torcs-for-an-electric-vehicle-td20716531.html ) another user has run into the gearing limitation and the need for an electric drive option. The single rear wheel would be useful for both our projects. If you'd like to look, I have my track and velomobile available on my website ( http://bunny.selfip.org/page.php?id=12 ) so you can see exactly what I'm talking about. So, What are the steps to get this updated and included in the source? --bunny019 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Let Crystal Reports handle the reporting - Free Crystal Reports 2008 30-Day trial.
