Hello,

Im new to Torcs game and I wanted to install it to play initially and then
for my research work.
I installed Ubuntu 14.04 and then TORCS through the software center in
Ubuntu.

After this I followed the robot tutorial guide for TORCS and then entered
the following
$ glxinfo | grep direct

For this I got a response direct rendering: Yes.

But after this step, when I enter the command $ rpm -qa | grep glut,
nothing happnes in the command window. So I installed the free glut 3 - dev
and all the related glut packages.
Even then there is no change. Subsequently the other steps are also
behaving the same way.

Can some one please help me out with the manual installation of TORCS and
the other libraries like glut, mesa glut, plilb and openAL
