Have you had a chance to play with the proposed simuv2 patch yet? It
should feel good :)

I was curious about the human driver changes you propose in Andrew's
cars page. I have already modified the human driver for personal use
so that it smoothly goes from off to on no matter what you are using
(but usually just as fas as you can move pedals) - but I was curious
about what the steering patch. Currently I am using a bit of toe in my
front wheels for all my human car setups to make steering a bit more
stable (i.e. I set right wheel to -0.5 degrees and left to 0.5 degrees
to and it seems to do the trick). I think that we should perhaps set up
all cars so that they have such toe to begin with.

What else would you think is warranted when using a
mouse/keyboard/joystick? The problem with mouse is no way to 'return'
to center very easily and with keyboard lack of precision.. but.. hm..

I also think it's time I added a handbrake button... I will implement it
in the simuv3 code and report back...
