accc command usage?

I've been tinkering with some cars lately, and hit an obstacle when
trying to add reflections to the car.

In the tutorial on the torcs website, it suggests the following command

[CODE]
$ kc-lightweight]$ accc +es 0 kc-lightweight.ac kc-lightweight.acc
[/CODE]

which should create the needed .acc file.

When I try the same (obviously replacing the kc-lightweight with the
name of the car) in terminal (in the car folder and also in the
/torcs/bin folder), there's only 

[CODE]
command not found
[/CODE]

and nothing happens.

If I try to modify the supposed command like this

[CODE]
$ accc +es 0 kc-lightweight.ac kc-lightweight.acc
[/CODE]

it runs for a while in terminal, spews out a lot of text until there's
an error for having run out of memory. The actual .acc file in the car
folder only gets to 8.0 kb before this interruption. Why doesn't this
smoothing command work for me? Is the original command shown in the
tutorial inaccurate, or why doesn't the .acc file get created? I tried
to decipher the accc command options on my own, but obviously failed.
