Hello Torcs-User, Sorry for the subject, it's probably not the best description of my requests. First of all I'd like to point out that it was just a question of running 'configure && make && make install' to get the new version to compile on Mageia 3 Linux with a 3.8.13 kernel on my Asus laptop with a Nvidia GC. Still there's a question left: Is it possible to compile it to run on more than one core? It uses one of eight cores and runs on it with 55 to 60 fps if I race on E-track-6 for example. I am able to race fluently against 10 or 12 opponents, but it gets "jumpy" if I try to configure 15 or more opponents at once. Also I always recognized that the running race stops, if I switch away from the virtual desktop the visual/window is on. I guess this is a desired behaviour. I sometimes let some robots race against each others and then I switch to some other virtual desktop to work on something else for a minute. But the race stops if I do that. Is there a way to change this? I'd like it to run unattended for a while. Thank you for your time.
