I have a question on races' configuration file editing.

Hello everyone.

As I say in the topic, I have a question on races' configuration file
editing. I've searched everywhere for an answer, to no avail. Google was
not my friend this time, and neither was this list's search feature.

The thing is: I like running TORCS on quite low skill levels. Just to
put the pedal to the metal and fly around the tracks. However that tends
to become pretty unchallenging once one gets to know the track
relatively well, so I came up with a custom race type composed of a
complex set of nested subraces, all rather short. As I envisioned it it
would be composed of:

1. A qualification stage;
2. A preliminary race, with a lot of cars;
3. A main race, with the top half of the cars;
4. A final race, again with the top half of the cars.

And I made it and it works fine. However, once I get to know the tracks,
I tend to win the preliminary race, and then I'm just the first one in
the starting grid and the competition is over unless I just let everyone
pass. So I went looking for a way to grab the top half of the cars, but
reverse their order in the starting grid so that if I win the
preliminary race I'm the last one on the main race's grid. This, I
couldn't find.

I know the "attstr name="starting order" config parameter can have the
values "last race" or "drivers list" but couldn't find any other. I even
got to the point of noseing about in the source code (I'm no coder), and
did see a section that apparently makes reversed starting grids, but
couldn't find the actual value to use in the configuration. And I don't
really know if it does what I want or not.

So I'm asking you now: is what I want possible? And/or is there a list
of those xml parameters hidden somewhere, with possible values?

Thanks in advance.
Jorge
