Hi Carlos

I think this is an easy one: Some environment is set by the top level 
makefile, if you just call you "local makefile" (which makes perfectly 
sense) you need to set 2 environment variables, see here:

For you just those are important (adapt it to your version and directory):
export TORCS_BASE=/usr/src/torcs/torcs-1.2.4
export MAKE_DEFAULT=$TORCS_BASE/Make-default.mk
