TORCS Compilation Problem

Hello, I am trying to install TORCS 1.2.4 as our research group would like to use the research platform. The computer I am using is 64 bit and the operating system is Ubuntu 14.04. When I try to ./configure I receive the error: Can't find libm. I have not been able to fix this problem yet do you have any suggestions?
