Hi, I tried out the new changes made to TORCS and found that it has a sightly higher frame-rate, and drives better overall (a bit more twitchy at lower speeds on pavement though). 1) I can freeze TORCS in "Dirt 2" by t-boning the divider wall between the raceway and the pits (on the raceway side). 2) I find that TORCS is too tipsy when steering in small amounts. This causes too much of a weight shift to the wheels on the outside of the slight turn, causing the car to lean on either the left-side or right-side wheels too much of the time (even when driving straight ahead). This causes the car to avoid driving straight. 3) When using the g-force indicators (and by feel), I find that TORCS generates more force in any direction other than forward. Maybe some dissipative variable steals too much thrust. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, SlashDot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot
