Thanks for the response.

I am using TORCS-1.3.7 on Ubuntu 16.04.4.

When I run torcs with the =E2=80=9C-r=E2=80=9D command line option I get =
the following output and the GUI starts up:

Visual Properties Report
------------------------
Compatibility mode, properties unknown.


I would appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to troubleshoot =
this.
