Problem with compiled client.dll

Good evening,

I was trying to change some stuff on libs/client, I managed to compile it
but it crashes TORCS when I try to start a race or select a track, etc.
Even without changing anything in the code it crashes, and also the
compiled client.dll is bigger with 1166 KB instead of 988 KB like the one
that comes installed. I'm using VC++ 2008 Express, and TORCS 1.3.8-test1.
What could be causing the crash? I don't get any messages, it just closes
to the desktop.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
