That has nothing to do with the alpine climate, IMO. I think it´s a bug
in a66 (force enabling the .grf doesn´t work anymore).

IMO, that behaviour has also nothing to do with the alpine climate but
*could* be a result of simply using TTRS. AFAIR, there had been a
discussion between the developers about "house callback 17" using a lot
of CPU time. I don´t know if there have been any improvements to this.
In addition, I don´t use TTRS so I don´t know about its "normal" behaviour.

You should try TTRS without alpine climate, just to be sure.
