I'd blame Hotmail.  Have you checked your spam/junk folder?

There have been quite a few bounces from AOL with "TRANSACTION FAILED" so I 
wouldn't be surprised if AOL accounts didn't get all list mails, but Hotmail 
hasn't sent any bounces, so if you didn't get it they either put it in the 
junk folder or deleted it without telling you.
