They're exactly the same. Maybe your synthesized is different? I had the = opportunity to play both DOS and Windows tycoons on the same General MIDI= synthesizer and they sounded exactly the same. If you would like to inve= nt the wheel and dump DOS music yourself you would need two computers wit= h MIDI interfaces, one of them capable of running DOS (or Win98). Here I = uploaded the gm directory (I don't think Roland or OPL-2 would be of any = use). http://j7n.sytes.net/ttd/gm.rar I've modified gm_tt00.gm to begin and end on musical periods, because it = did not loop nicely, at least on my machine.
