Being specially programmed for OPL-2 the music indeed sounded very good. =
I especially liked "Cruise Control". I was even not really sure if I pref=
ered OPL or Yamaha XG rendition at one point. There are still recordings =
of the OPL-3 'performance' (64 kBit/s) somewhere in my collection, if any=
body is interested.

Windows 2000 probably emulated all MIDI playback using "Microsoft Synthes=
izer". Some WDM sound drivers do that also in Win98.

Music in TT is not interactive. You could play it using a dedicated audio=
 player when you want.
