As stated by Mr. Mallett, you've opened up 2 religious debates that have probably taken place on just about every internet mailing list with more than 10 members. However, the software these lists use has a simple solution that should be satisfactory to all: if an email address already appears in the To or CC headers of a message, it doesn't deliver another copy of that message to that address. This means that everyone can do the Reply-to-all thing without fear of offense. To enable this, go to <http://list.services.net/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr/domain=asrg.sp.am/>, hit 'Unsubscribe or Change Settings' at the top, and have a look at the CC and dupes options. Philip Miller
