i will try to write more later, but splitting
into multiple lines is not a problem as
822 defines how to make a long header 
span lines -- the continuing lines start with
whitespace.  My suggestion was that
if we start bencoding that we declare
an implicit s/\s+/ /g gets done on the
combined header before parsing bencode string lengths.
