NAME
	Raymond S Brand

PROPOSAL
	Designated Relays Inquiry Protocol (DRIP)
	http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-brand-drip-01.txt

	It attempts to protect the SMTP HELO/EHLO domain name
	parameter from forgery much the same way that the
	RMX/DMP/SPF/Vixie proposals attempt to protect the SMTP
	envelope sender (MAIL FROM) domain name from forgery.

ROLE
	Author of the DRIP proposal. Opinionated critic of the
	other proposals.

BACKGROUND
	Unemployed Unix systems programmer/administrator with the
	time and interest to work at reducing the SPAM problem.
