Going forward...

  I haven't check who is still subscribed.  Could everyone who's
subscribed (other than the ASRG chairs) please email me off-list,
indicating if they're willing to continue participating in this forum.

  If no one answers, then I will ask the ASRG chairs to shut down the
sub-group.


  My belief is that we can still move forward.  The largest obstacle
is cooperation: We've got to set aside our differences, the desire to
have (only) our name in lights, and agree to move forward with a
concrete proposal.

  Any proposal which has the public support of all of the proponents
on this list will have SIGNIFICANTLY more chance of success than any
individual proposal.
