Summary of responses to issues

  I've summarized the responses to the issues I presented.  The text
is available at the following site:

  I've added some editorial comments in italices.  I'd like comments
on those, please.  I will also be adding some more issues, based on
the comments on the list.

  It looks like there is significant overlap between the proposals in
terms of goals and limitations.  This means that we should quickly be
able to come up with a unified proposal.

  I would like to have a rough draft of a unified proposal by the end
of next week.  We can start writing the draft with a discussion of the
goals, costs, and limitations of using DNS to "verify" EHLO/HELO and
MAIL FROM.  Once those issues are clear, we can then discuss detailed
design.
