I'm a little busier than I thought. A sudden family medical emergency means that for the next few days, I'll be sporadically checking my mail. In the mean time, we need to address the following concerns: - can this solution be slightly extended to more generic consent information in DNS? e.g. reverse-ip.rmx.consent.domain ... - we need to decide what, exactly is the design. RMX is slightly different than the others. If Hadmut can integrate the design of his proposal with the others, it means that the only disagreement will be syntax in DNS, and not the general approach - we need a preliminary guideline for a "graduated approach" to the solution. e.g. "use EHLO/HELO in this way, and then MAIL FROM" The various solutions need to be integrated, and I can't do it today or tomorrow, as I had expected. Remember, we're working on a tight schedule, and discussions surrounding the design will be counter-productive, unless we have specific design details to talk about. Alan DeKok.
