For MTA authentication almost any of LMAP proposals will work, with more or 
less precision and overhead. For sender identities the only affordable 
approach today is to let domains care about it.

For authorization (it is actually the point, to permit or to deny), good 
rights/trust model is lacking. But plain implicit 'trust to everybody by 
default' plus DNS BLs will work for the first time.
