[ippm] Re: Working group last call for Quality of Outcome (draft-ietf-ippm-qoo)

I support this QoO draft. Via my employer, Comcast, we did a research study with Bjorn with some customers. The results, which he presented at a prior IETF meeting, were extremely positive. In particular:


  *   100% of participants said they liked Quality of Outcome better than speedtests
  *   86% felt Quality of Outcome matched their usage much better than their looking at bandwidth utilization over time
  *   96% said Quality of Outcome reports increased their trust in the ISP
  *   100% said Quality of Outcome info will increase their satisfaction
  *   66% said Quality of Outcome info will reduce their likelihood of calling customer support
  *   83% said getting recommendations in an application context will increase the trust in the recommendation (e.g., to get better Zoom quality to Jane’s iPad, do X or Y)



We support this and, once standardized, we hope to deploy it.
