I have noted that in your recent responses you fail to explain how to change an instance without changing the pattern. Perhaps that will clear it up. If sequence:0 has dates/times A B C and SEQUENCE:1 has A B D How is not not a change to the pattern? And by the way, my email was not about 'single instance' updates.
