I read a previous version of this document, and just now re-read -02.
I support adoption.

The RAN example was moved to an appendix, but that didn't really clarify the
use case for me.  The example confused some people, I think, and so was
moved as a response.  I disagree with that: please clarify the use case.  I
think that I got some verbal clarification that convinced me of the need for
this, and the inability to unilaterally upgrade the end systems.

I am surprised by the lack of any IANA request.
It makes me ask: is there anything other than IETF blessing that prevents a
4o6RA from being built today?
Is this standards track or BCP?
