Bernie asked in the _Recommended IPv6 Address Option_ thread, and at https://github.com/dhcwg/rfc8415bis/issues/92
if we lost some text from RFC8415 that was in
https://github.com/dhcwg/rfc3315bis and RFC3633.

I looked at [email protected]:dhcwg/rfc3315bis.git, to the last version before
I tried to clear that repo out to do RFC8415bis (We started a new repo
instead)

I tried to git bisect, but it was difficult to get things right.
The text below is not in RFC8415 as far as I can tell.

I found:

commit dad34fa18e67ace3db861bf6ad6c8f19e18ecb6d (HEAD -> rfc8415)
Author: bevolz <[email protected]>
Date: Sat Apr 7 09:25:28 2018 -0400

I find that the text:
   - For each IA_PD the requesting router assigns a subnet from each of
the delegated prefixes to each of the links to which the
associated interfaces are attached, with the following exception:
the requesting router MUST NOT assign any delegated prefixes or

is in the rfc3315bis.txt that was in the repo, but not in the XML file.

I go back to 2013 text merges, and I do not find this paragraph included.

Instead, we have something simpler in section 18.1.7:
<t hangText="-">For each delegated prefix, the client assigns a
subnet to each of the links to which the associated interfaces are
                attached.

but, this text goes away as well.
I haven't been able to track this. git blame/annotate isn't helpful (or I
don't know how to use it) for lines that were deleted.
