As I was the one asking for the WGLC process in Vienna I obviously believe this document to be ready to move on. As I’m also responsible for what is, so far, likely the only complete implementation I think I’m quite well positioned to make that judgement, although I certainly hope that more people will chime in. This is the only proposal I know of for how to automatically maintain the delegation information for an unsigned child zone in the parent. As 90+ percent of all child zones are still unsigned, after 20 years of DNSSEC deployment, solving this problem has been important for decades and finally getting it done… would be great.
