I do not agree that these two objects are poorly specified. Your
mileage obviously varies. 

Procedurally, I suggest to start a last call on this document - if 
Andy wants to undeprecate some more stuff, ask him to post a revised 
document in a week and start a last call on that version. Simply put,
set clear deadlines and make sure any followup work is done on time.
