One note: Use of fax varies from country to country. In Japan, every business from the corner noodle shop to the major corporations have "fax maps" -- an image either on paper or stored in memory that shows the location of the business relative to major streets, train stations and so on. This is because of the strange house numbering system they use, and it is unlikely to change in the near future. I realize that the images could be transmitted in many other file formats, but I don't see this changing for the noodle shop unless fax is somehow forced out. On the other hand, Japan has an impressive record on replacing technologies quickly. Ole Ole J.
