ITU-T T.30 defines only the protocol for Group 3 facsimile.
In general, there are many Group 3 facsimie and some Group 4.

It is very hard to implement traditional Group 3 facsimle protocol
over E-mail environment, realizing capability negotiation and 
confirmation same level as fax.
